Grid Tied, Hybrid Solar Power System with Lithium Battery

Client request:

Client´s goal was to do the right thing for the environment and to cut energy costs over the long term. System should also provide power backup for premises when outages occur.

Solution provided:

Hybrid Inverter (RoHS compliant), 310W polycrystalline Solar Panels (TÜV Süd Certified), Powertank Lithium Battery (LiFePo4), Datalogger, mounting structure and cables.

The HOLASOL Solar System will prioritize the self-consumption of PV generated power and stored battery over grid power, helping to avoid high utility charges. The system also provides automatic backup in case of grid outages. When legislation permits, this system is prepared to take a step further by enabling excess PV power to be sold to the grid. The installed Inverter is the most efficient and economical method for self-consumption and for storing PV power. It will also charge the battery bank from the grid if solar irradiation is insufficient. Batteries and Solar PV can be scaled up as needed.
